Real Estate Salesperson – License Information

To obtain a Real Estate Salesperson's license by examination: (for applicants not licensed in any state)

1) Complete education requirements listed on Form #3166.

2) Pass the salesperson examination administered by Pearson VUE, the Board-approved vendor.

3) Submit application (choose one option below), supporting documents, and fee:

OLAS (Online Licensure Application System) available for online completion to all Real Estate Salesperson applicants, excluding reinstatement.

Application for Pre-Determination (Form #3085) per Wis. Admin. Code § REEB 12.011


To obtain a Real Estate Salesperson's license by reciprocity: (for Illinois or Indiana credential holders)

1) Pass the Wisconsin specific salesperson examination administered by Pearson VUE, the Board-approved vendor.

2) Submit application (choose one option below), proof of out of state licensure, supporting documents, and fee:

OLAS (Online Licensure Application System) available for online completion to all Real Estate Salesperson applicants, excluding reinstatement.

Application for Real Estate Salesperson License (Form #3166)

If your Illinois or Indiana license is not active, but was active within the past 2 years, you may apply to obtain a Real Estate Salesperson license by endorsement.

To obtain a  Real Estate Salesperson's license by endorsement: (for applicants who have been licensed in another state within the past 2 years)

1) Complete education requirements listed on Form #3166.
 
2) Pass the Wisconsin specific salesperson examination administered by Pearson VUE, the Board-approved vendor.

3) Submit application (choose one option below), proof of out of state licensure, supporting documents, and fee:

OLAS (Online Licensure Application System) available for online completion to all Real Estate Salesperson applicants, excluding reinstatement. 
 
Application for Real Estate Salesperson License (Form #3166)

To reinstate a Real Estate Salesperson's license expired more than 5 years:

1) Complete education requirements listed on Form #3166. within the last 4 years.

2) Pass the salesperson examination administered by Pearson VUE, the Board-approved vendor.

3) Submit application, supporting documents, and fee:
