S&B - 2009 and 2008 Commercial Building Code Change Insert Pages The Safety and Buildings Division has created PDF files showing the Wisconsin Commercial Building Code language changes effective in early 2009 and the March 1, 2008 changes. These files may be printed and inserted into the loose leaf three-hole versions of the then-adopted model codes. (You might want to print the pages on colored paper.) These insert pages are of the modifications of the International Code Council Codes and do not include all of the language of the Wisconsin code, Comm 60-66. On January 1, 2012, Comm 60-66 was renamed and renumbered - SPS 360-366.Here is a list of the June, 2009, newly created or modified insert pages (all pages are linked below): - IECC 1: The document is only modified on page 2 of 2 to reflect the fact that the law regarding the prohibition of heated sidewalks was repealed effective 4−10−08. - IBC 12-C page is new and covers the carbon monoxide detection requirements. - IBC 35-E page is new and covers the added carbon monoxide detector standards. - IEBC 9-B page Mod060809 is a modified page that adds carbon monoxide detection requirements. - IFGC 2-B page is a modified page that clarifies the change in name of our sister agency to DHS. - IFGC 3-A page is a modified page that adds information on Section 101.16(4) Stats. - IFGC 5 page is a modified page that clarifies the change in name of our sister agency to DHS. People who wish a paper copy of all the Wisconsin Commercial Building Code may obtain it from Document Sales (800-266-3358). The adopted ICC codes - International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, International Energy Conservation Code, International Fuel Gas Code, and International Existing Building Code - are available from the ICC at http://www.iccsafe.org/e/category.html. The WCBC references the International Fire Code, which also is available from ICC. Seperate PDF insert pages are provided here according to the chapters of the ICC codes and each ICC code also has one larger PDF file that contains all the pages for that code. Here is a link to a free download of PDF Reader software that allows viewing and printing of PDF files. The download is large and would take extended time if using a dial-up modem.

This note will be revised and updated as insert pages are changed or created. An insert page was corrected on February 20, 2008. - Change to IBC page 9C, Comm 62.0903 ------------------------ Below is a list of insert pages that were changed or newly created on February 8, 2008 showing Wisconsin modifications to the 2006 editions of five International Code Council model codes. Packets of insert pages distributed after February 8 by state Document Sales, the UW, or from the Safety and Buildings Division WebSite contain these new pages. People who received their insert pages before or on February 8 can download from the S&B WebSite and print these pages as replacement or new insert pages. Someone can tell if they have the correct final set of insert pages by seeing if they have an IMC page 7B showing Comm 64.0710. That is a new page that was not in the insert pages distributed before February 8.
