Information on using Safety and Professional Services Web Applications

If you are visiting this web page you most likely are planning to use a Safety and Professional Services web application or are experiencing a problem with a Safety and Professional Services web application. The information on this web page is intended to assist you with using Safety and Professional Services web applications and to allow you to report issues or problems with Safety and Professional Services web applications.

Conditions for using a Safety and Professional Services web application

Commerce makes every attempt to develop web applications that will run in different browsers in different operating systems. Due to resource constraints, Safety and Professional Services cannot test under all possible operating system and browser combinations. Safety and Professional Services web applications are tested under the following conditions:

  • Internet Explorer 8.0.
  • Windows XP Operating System.
  • A minimum monitor resolution set to 800 pixels x 600 pixels.
  • Pop-up Blocker Settings. If you use Pop-up Blocker in Internet Explorer, apps.commerce.wi.gov and apps.commerce.wi.gov must be listed in the "allowed sites" in Pop-up Blocker Settings.

With the Pop-up Blocker Settings window open, add apps.commerce.wi.gov and apps.commerce.wi.gov as allowed sites as shown below. If you have questions about the use of Internet Explorer Pop-up Blocker, click on the Pop-up Blocker FAQ link in the lower left part of the Pop-up Blocker Settings window.

How to report issues and problems with Safety and Professional Services web applications

You can use the Safety and Professional Services Web Application Problem Submission Form at the bottom of this web page to submit necessary information to track any problems or issues with a web application. The form on this web page is only used to submit information on technical problems with Safety and Professional Services web applications such as web page errors encountered when accessing the web application or when performing a task in the web application. We will test and troubleshoot problems that arise under the Conditions for using a Safety and Professional Services web application described in an prior section of this web page.
