Environmental Services - PECFA Proposed Rule Changes

The Department will hold a public hearing next month on proposed rules relating to Petroleum Environmental Cleanup Fund awards and associated credentials.

As stated in the Hearing Notice referenced below, the public hearing will be held on July 15, 2004, in Madison.

As you may observe, the Hearing notice does not include reference to emergency rules relating to a usual-and-customary-cost schedule, as were discussed at a June 2 meeting of the Comm 47 Advisory Committee. The Department has decided to delay its planned implementation of that schedule by emergency rule until September 1, 2004.
