Safety and Buildings Division Elevator Code Advisory Council Meeting Agendas

Thursday, September 12, 2002, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,201 W. Washington Ave., Madison, Commerce Center, Rm. 3B

1. Review and approval of agenda and progress report from previous meeting

2. Discuss single-bottom jack replacement

3. Discuss proposed public hearing draft relating to increase travel distance for platform lifts.

4. Discuss proposed public hearing draft relating to hydraulic and wedge rope socket requirements for platform lifts. (Comm 18.1808 and 18.1809)

5. Lunch Break      Lunches provided for Council members only

6. Discuss and distribute proposal to permit inclined platform lifts with restraining arms. 7. Identify any other code change topics to be discussed. 8. Adjourn meeting
