​The Division of Industry Services provides required plan review for the following elevator systems: New installations, covered remodels, and petitions for variance for passenger elevators, freight elevators, inclined elevators, limited-use limited-application (LULA) elevators, power sidewalk elevators, special purpose personnel elevators, Part V elevators, stage elevators, Type B material lifts, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts, and stairway chair lifts.

Reviews and revisions are not scheduled in advance. They are reviewed in order of receipt by using the online portal, eSLA.

Inspections for new installations are required and performed by Division Elevator Inspectors. See Map of Inspectors Districts.
