The Examining Board of Professional Geologists, Hydrologists and Soil Scientists is created in Wis. Stat. § 15.405(2m) and has authority as outlined in Wis. Stat. ch. 470. The Board convenes to address matters of joint interest and is divided into 3 Sections to address matters specific to its respective professional areas.
Members
The members of the Examining Board of Professional Geologists, Hydrologists and Soil Scientists are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Legislature to serve 4-year terms. The Board consists of 12 members: 3 professional geologists, 3 professional hydrologists, 3 professional soil scientists and 3 public members.
