​​The Division of Industry Services (DIS) establishes and enforces standards to protect the design, construction, and operation of ski lifts, passenger ropeways, and tows. DIS reviews plans for new installations of ski lifts, passenger ropeways, and tows. DIS staff provides consultations and inspections to ensure safe operations.
