All initial, reinstatement, and renewal applications for a Trades credential must now be made through
LicensE, your online, self-guided licensing platform.

We are transitioning our forms to an online platform, AccessGov, that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance. You will be able to submit some forms directly within the platform, while some may require you to download as a PDF and upload to another system. As of May 6th, 2026, all forms must be completed using the AccessGov system. Please follow the instructions on each form to ensure proper submission.
License Information
Per Wis. Stat. § 145.06, no person may engage in or work at plumbing in the state unless licensed to do so by the Department.
Per Wis. Admin. Code. § SPS 305.98, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 145.07 (11), a person who holds a registration as a registered Pipelayer may install or modify water services, private water mains, sanitary building sewers, storm building sewers, or private interceptor main sewers under the general supervision of a licensed Utility Contractor, licensed Master Plumber, or a licensed Master Plumber Restricted Service.
