​Adobe Acrobat Reader

PDF files (.pdf) can be viewed and printed from a computer with the free Adobe Reader software.

If you are encountering issues in opening PDFs on the Department of Safety and Professional Services website, please ensure you have the most recent version of Adobe Reader installed (version 6.0 or higher).

Download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader.


Adobe Flash Player

SWF files (.swf) that include animation, audio, graphics, sound, text, and video can be viewed on a computer with the free Adobe Flash Player.

If you are encountering issues in viewing SWF files on the Department of Safety and Professional Services website, please ensure you have the latest version of Flash Player installed (version 8.0 or higher).  

Download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.


Microsoft Excel Viewer

Excel files (.xls) can be viewed using the Microsoft Excel Viewer, if the computer you are using does not have Microsoft Excel installed.

If you have Microsoft Excel 2003 or lower, use the Microsoft Compatibility Pack.

Download and install the latest version of Microsoft Excel Viewer.


Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer

PowerPoint files (.ppt) can be viewed using the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer, if the computer you are using does not have Microsoft PowerPoint installed.

If you have Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or lower, use the Microsoft Compatibility Pack.

Download and install the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.


Microsoft Word Viewer

Word files (.docx) can be viewed  using the Microsoft Word Viewer, if the computer you are using does not have Microsoft Word installed.

If you have Microsoft Word 2003 or lower, use the Microsoft Compatibility Pack.

Download and install the latest version of Microsoft Word Viewer.
