The Manufactured Housing Code Council is created in Wis. Stat. § 15.407(13) to advise the Department on matters related to manufactured housing as set forth in Wis. Stat. § 101.933.
Members
The members of the Manufactured Housing Code Council are appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Safety and Professional Services to serve 3 year terms. The Council consists of 2 members representing manufacturers of manufactured home; 2 members representing manufactured home dealers; 2 members representing owners of manufactured home communities; 2 members representing installers of manufactured homes; 1 member representing an association of the manufactured housing industry in Wisconsin; 1 member representing suppliers of materials or services to the manufactured housing industry; 1 member representing the public; 1 member representing labor; and 1 member representing inspectors of manufactured homes.
