Real Estate Broker Continuing Education

New Wis. Admin. Code Changes Effective October 1, 2015

Multiple changes became effective on October 1, 2015 for Real Estate Brokers in Ch. REEB 12 and Ch. REEB 25. These changes established new application requirements and new continuing education requirements for Real Estate Salespersons and Brokers.

Please note: Beginning with the December 2016 renewal, Brokers are no longer exempt from CE requirements if it is their first biennium being licensed as a Broker.

For the 2019-2020 Biennium, all license holders are required to complete 18 hours of approved continuing education. The 18 hours must include completion of 3 hours for each of the 6 required course topics. Continuing education providers must offer 3 modules within each of the 6 required courses. Licensees may complete any of the 3 modules offered with a provider for one of the 6 courses. Please see the 2019-2020 Real Estate Curriculum outline form and the course provider application form for details on the required modules and the 6 required course topics. There are no longer elective requirements as part of the 18 required hours.
