Real Estate Broker Continuing Education

New Wis. Admin. Code Changes Effective October 1, 2015

Multiple changes became effective on October 1, 2015 for Real Estate Brokers in Ch. REEB 12 and Ch. REEB 25. These changes established new application requirements and new continuing education requirements for Real Estate Salespersons and Brokers.

Please note: Beginning with the December 2016 renewal, Brokers are no longer exempt from CE requirements if it is their first biennium being licensed as a Broker. All Brokers must complete CE for the December 2016 renewal.

All Real Estate Brokers will be required to complete the required CE for all renewals after the upcoming 2016 renewal.

CE Requirements

18 hours (six, 3-hour modules with specific course content approved by the Real Estate Examining Board).

The continuing education test-out option is no longer available due to the repeal of Wis. Stat. § 452.12(5)(c)2.

Biennium from 12/15/even – 12/14/even year.

See Administrative Code for more details.
