Real Estate Salesperson Continuing Education

New Wis. Admin. Code Changes Effective October 1, 2015

Multiple changes became effective on October 1, 2015 for Real Estate Brokers in Ch. REEB 12 and Ch. REEB 25. These changes established new application requirements and new continuing education requirements for Real Estate Salespersons.

Please note: If you are issued a license after October 1, 2018, you are exempt from completing the required CE for only the December 14, 2018 renewal (per the rule change that became effective on October 1, 2015). Any license issued prior to October 1, 2018 is required to complete CE for the December 14, 2018 renewal.

All Real Estate Salespersons will be required to complete the required CE for all renewals after the upcoming 2018 renewal, unless their license was issued after October 1 in an even year.

CE Requirements

18 hours (six, 3-hour modules with specific course content approved by the Real Estate Examining Board).

The continuing education test-out option is no longer available due to the repeal of Wis. Stat. § 452.12(5)(c)2.

Biennium from 12/15/even – 12/14/even year.

See Administrative Code for more details.
