Ski Lifts

The Electronic Safety and Licensing Application (eSLA) is now live for Ski Lifts. Customers must use eSLA to submit plan reviews/permits, as well as search the Public Lookup for this program area.

Visit esla.wi.gov to get started, or go to the Customer Information page for instructions on first-time login.

The Division of Industry Services (DIS) establishes and enforces standards to protect the design, construction, and operation of ski lifts, passenger ropeways, and tows. DIS reviews plans for new installations of ski lifts, passenger ropeways, and tows.  DIS staff provides consultations and inspections to ensure safe operations.
