The Division of Industry Services offers an online web scheduler for plan reviews related to Commercial Buildings, Fire Suppression & Fire Alarm Systems, and Plumbing. Please find Commercial Buildings and Fire Suppression Systems information below.
Effective 03/01/17 we have upgraded to SharePoint 2013 for electronic submittals. Any plan reviews scheduled as of this date will be entered in to SharePoint 2013. Here is the link to the new
SharePoint 2013 Submitter Instructions.
Scroll down for scheduling options.
REVISIONS should not be entered into the Web Scheduler.
Revised
electronically submitted plans should have a completed application form (including the SharePoint user login ID name and the related transaction # being revised) e-mailed to
dspssbplanschedule@wi.gov for an electronic review to be scheduled.
Commercial Buildings / Fire Suppression & Fire Alarm Plan Review Scheduling
Prior to submission to the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), check with the municipality of the project’s location, as there may be parallel plan review, complete plan review, or other municipal permit regulations. View the full list of
Commercial Buildings Delegated Municipalities.
Please choose from the options below based on what you would like to submit to the DSPS.
Architectural Building Plan that is not a Revision via the Automated Scheduling System
Plans scheduled via the NEWAUTO
Plan Review Scheduler* include:
- Building footing and foundation plans
- Structural plans
- Architectural plans
- Permission to start for footings and foundation (at own risk while waiting for plan review approval)
The new system will look and feel similar to the current system. It will allow submitters who need to schedule a new commercial building construction State plan review to choose their review office, reviewer, or the next available review date. In addition, the new system will provide you with an electronic appointment confirmation – no more waiting to hear back from DSPS regarding your plan being scheduled! Please note that this system is only for new construction (the building does not exist yet) type of review. This is NOT for revisions to existing buildings or fire suppression or fire alarm reviews. There will be a specific option to select to schedule a new construction plan review via the automated plan scheduling system.
