Wisconsin Act 113 takes effect on July 1, 2018 (2017 WI Act 113).The final federal regulations became effective on
August 10, 2015, meaning that an Appraisal Management Company cannot perform
services related to a federally related transaction in Wisconsin after August
10, 2018, unless the AMC is licensed in Wisconsin.
An Appraisal Management Company (AMC) is required to obtain a license before performing appraisal management services for compensation, advertising as an appraisal management company, using the title "licensed appraisal management company", or other similar title; or holding itself out as an AMC. Requirements and procedures for applying for an AMC license are specified in

Per
Wis. Stat. § 440.08(2), the required renewal date for the AMC credential is 12/14 of each odd-numbered years. Should you receive your initial credential in the months leading up to this date, you are still required to renew your license by the statutorily defined date.
AMC Registry Fees must be paid to the Department annually in order to be eligible to be on the AMC Registry pursuant to 12 CFR § 1102.403. The registry fee form will be available soon, submit in January 2020 to report on the entire calendar year 2019.
