The Massage Therapy and Bodywork Therapy Affiliated Credentialing Board, created in Wis. Stat. § 15.406(6), is affiliated with the Medical Examining Board and has authority as outlined in Wis. Stat. ch. 460.
Members
The members of the Massage Therapy and Bodywork Therapy Affiliated Credentialing Board are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Legislature to serve 4-year terms. The Board consists of 6 Massage Therapists or Bodywork Therapists: 1 of the 6 professional members shall be a representative of an approved massage therapy or bodywork therapy school; 1 member shall be a representative of a massage therapy or bodywork therapy program offered by a technical college in this state; and 1 public member.
