The Wisconsin Midwife Advisory Committee is appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Safety and Professional Services to advise the Department on matters relating to maternity care providers specializing in out of hospital care and licensed midwives.
Members
The agency may use informal conferences and consultations to obtain the viewpoint and advise the Department on possible action. The agency also may appoint a committee of experts, interested persons or representatives of the public to advise it with respect to discussion topics. The Council shall have advisory powers only.
