License Information
Per
Wis. Stat. § 440.08(2), the required renewal date for the Barbering Establishment credential is 03/31/ each odd-numbered year. Should you receive your initial credential in the months leading up to this date, you are still required to renew your license by the statutorily defined date.
All establishments where barbering is practiced must be licensed as a barbering establishment. Establishments must also obtain a license before opening a new business, relocating an existing business, or a changing the ownership of the business.
Requirements for barbering establishments fall under Wis. Admin. Code § SPS 50.241.
